Light duty safety switches are ideal for home applications when disconnecting power to workshops, hobby rooms, furnaces and garages. The Square D light duty enclosed switch is ideal for home applications in disconnecting power to workshops, hobby rooms, furnaces, and garages. The light duty safety switch has visible blades and a ground lug as standard features. Light duty and general duty safety switches are UL® Listed, File E2875, and meet or exceed the NEMA® Standard KS1. This light duty Single Throw Safety Switch is a 2P, 30 A, fusible disconnect with a rated current of 240 VAC. This switch has a neutral (factory installed) and is a NEMA 1 enclosure and is surface mounted. This safety switch accepts H or J fuses only. The tightening torque for the lugs are 30-30 lbf.in, for a AWG 14 / AWG 8 copper and a cable cross section of 2.082-8.367 mm². This will also accept an AWG gauge of AWG 12 / AWG 8, aluminium for a tightenig torque of 30-30 lbf.in and a cable cross section of 3.307-8.367 mm². This comes with an 18 months warranty. Dimensions for this product are 7.63 in (H),6.13 in (W),4 in (D).
