The XB4 series features a chromium-plated metal bezel designed for heavy-duty industrial environments requiring high impact and mechanical resistance.
The XB5 series features a double-insulated plastic bezel ideal for environments requiring chemical resistance or electrical isolation.
Both share the same 22 mm mounting size and modular system.
Choose XB4 series for harsh, high-impact, or outdoor environments such as mining, automotive, and heavy industry.
Choose XB5 series for chemically aggressive areas such as food processing, water treatment, or where double insulation is required.
Each pushbutton consists of three core parts.
Operator Head—the actuator on the front of the panel
Body/Fixing Collar—the mounting base that locks the head to the panel;
Electrical Blocks—including NO/NC contact blocks and LED light blocks, which snap onto the collar.
'XB' part number refers to a complete, pre-assembled unit (head + collar + contact blocks).
'ZB' part number refers to an individual component such as a head, contact block, or accessory.
Yes. Both series are CSA certified, UL listed, CE marked, and conform to IEC/EN 60947 standards for global machine compliance.
Yes. Complete units (starting with XB...) include everything needed for installation and are ideal for standard functions like Start or Stop buttons.
Choose loose components when customizing functions, managing lean inventory, or replacing individual heads or contacts without buying a full assembly.
Use momentary for actions such as Start, Jog, or Reset, where the operator returns automatically.
Use maintained for On/Off or mode selection functions requiring the operator to stay in position.
Yes. Operator heads can be replaced without modifying internal wiring. Contact blocks remain compatible, enabling quick upgrades and color/function changes.
Flush mounting reduces protrusion, enhances machine aesthetics, prevents accidental activation, and improves cleanability—ideal for OEMs designing modern control panels.
No special tools are required. Insert the head into the panel cutout, snap on the collar, tighten the locking screw, and clip the contact/light blocks into place.
Yes. The XBSR series provides wireless, battery-less pushbuttons that generate their own transmission energy. Ideal for AGVs, mobile equipment, or hard-to-wire locations.
NO (Normally Open—Green) is used for Start or activation.
NC (Normally Closed—Red) is used for Stop or Emergency Stop functions. Safety circuits often require NC contacts with positive-opening operation.
